Step one is to check the fuses. Could have blown a fuse somehow. Has anything else stopped working?

Fuse is OK all other items related to the cruise, according to the owners manual work.

Check the stop light bulbs in the taillights, and the CHMSL (Center High Mounted Stop Light). I'll bet one of them is burned out. Most of the cruise control circuits I'm familiar with will sense the stop light 'on' voltage to disengage the cruise when you press on the brake pedal.
