One Silverstar down, one to go...56kers beware!

Post by Psychobroker »

After only 6 months, one silverstar 9003ST has burnt out. I did not disable my DRL's, so that probably accelerated it. Based on the posts at genvibe, I planned ahead and picked up a set of EuroDezigns for $17.98 (bulbs + s/h) on eBay, just to give them a shot.Well, here's the side-by-side pics...1st two are of the EuroDezign on the left, Silvercrap on the right. 2nd two are both ED's:Side-by-sides:w/ flashw/o flashBoth ED's (linked to help the 56kers):w/ flash: http://img.photobucket.com/alb...3.jpgw/o flash: http://img.photobucket.com/alb...5.jpgI should have taken pics of the field of vision, but forgot to. Even so, I can vouch for the brightness of their light output, and was pleasantly suprised Thanks everyone for all your feedback regarding these crappy Silverstars EDIT: Oh, according to the eBay seller's description and the voice "narrator" of the site, these bulbs are backed by a LIFETIME warranty (minus $6.95 s&h). Here's a link to their site: http://www.eurodezigns.com/, and their FAQ: http://www.eurodezigns.com/faq.htmEDIT 2: I forgot to mention that I've had EuroDezign's 9006 fog's for 4 months w/o a problem. Here's a couple pics of the ED's all around. w/ flash: http://img.photobucket.com/alb...0.jpgw/o flash: http://img.photobucket.com/alb...1.jpgNow all that needs to happen is my silverstar turn signals to burn out

One of my stars burnt out right before the Toronto meet. Thank God I kept my original bulbs. At 28$ a bulb and less than a year, they earn a big fat Psycho car is looking better and better bro

Thanks Sam and Inder I'm just happy these bulbs turned out better than expected. They seem to be brighter than the SS's too

HAHA one of mine just went a few weeks ago too. I had them for 8 months only. They said if I sent them the receipt and the burnt bulbsand packaging, they would send me a new set for free...I lost the receipt though...I purposely saved it for this reason too but I forgot where I put it

Hy,PsychobrokerI wonder if you are satisfied with this light, because me to i will bye.At ebay i got for 9.99$,before to pay i want to have your opinion. Before i wanted to bye the sylvestar, but i see in the forum that burn in a year. So, these eurodezign are 9.99$+shipping,...for a pair and lifetime warranty, only yo pay the shiping and handling,(6.95 USD per set)Compared to sylvestar 28$can for 1 pulp and burn what i can see in a year.I thing the futur will say if these are the right light for us.
