Heyz everyone... Well its been a long time since ive jumped on here. Got alot to catch up on. Its kinda sad that I work at a job where I can just dig through the net for 6 hours a day, yet I still cant find the time to visit this forum (always visiting armotech, maximumpc, dailyrotten, yahoo news, and ebay of course). Kinda put the upgrades and improvments on my vibe on the back burner What I am wondering is I know that everyone has seen the trucks with the front bars and the light bars? Not sure how to explain it, but if you have seen them you know what im talking about. Its almost like the "tow bars" that some police cars have, but more fancy and looks alot better. I was dont know how it would look, but I would think it would give the Vibe a nice "tougher" look. Though most of the people here are looking for more of a sporty look, I think it would be nice to have a quick GT and when they look at it, they think with the "front bars" that its not quick. Though with the added weight of the metal (maybe like 250-300lbs not sure) on the front end, would that be a performance problem? Like nose heavy, steering slower, excessive wear on front suspension? any help or comments would be nice
I can say for sure that a drop makes it look more agressive.I dropped my 2.1" and it looks really tough...plus, add HIDs into the mix, and it looks baaaaaaaaaaaadass!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
you want to put a push bar on the front of your Vibe? And lower it?It would look bad (removed) but kinda odd at the same time. I don't think anyone would be making those bars soon.

then after you put on the crash bar you can put some good ole rebel flags on the roof!!! Yeeeee Hawwwwwww!!!!!!! He's just a good ole boy, Never meaning no harm, just a true red neck viber in the south part of town!!!
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/485204 Mods: Lowes Mat in the trunk area, 6 1/2"Rockford Fosgate Fanatic P in the front, Pioneer 6 1/2" 3 ways in the back, JVC KD-LH810, Grafxwerks stuff, Chrome Lugs, Yakima Roof Rack, LandShark, LoadWarior, Bedmount Bike Rack (fits nicely in tracks) and BarrCrafter Snowboard racks
You want to make it look tougher? Drive it here in Montreal for a week, it will look tougher lol Just kidding, some wheels, a nice drop and some tints and it will do the trick! Hmmm maybe a nice little wing? Not too sure about the bars, maybe someone can photoshop it?

you want to put something like this??? http://www.eautoworks.com/html...5.htm it'd definitely make it look like a true cross over vehicle, but practical? they weigh and ton and yes, ANY added weight to the front end will slow you down. plus it's not like it's aerodynamic or anything. lol.wanted one on my tundra, but..... as you can see, the one i wanted was a lot of $$$. tint, lower, add exhaust, cai, all of the above mentioned mods. you should be good to go. maybe even some external fogs or something like philindz did.
auctually the make smaller lighter ones than that try lokking for on for a rav-4 or tracker. a awd 2 tone vibe with some all terrain tires and that bar might look kinda cool like a little subaru outback.it will definately be diferent.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!
it would probably look like a pt cruiser if you put a brush gaurd on the VIbe. I've seena few cruisers with them....not too bad, makes them look like little baby darangos or something.
Actaully, its more like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1 This aint the exactly style I was looking for, but its gives you the idea.Ive seen trucks with them and I always though they looked "tougher" with them on. Just a thought, though
ya, that's gonna add some weight! and that's a brush guard, not a push bar or bull bar. i mean it's your car... but i wouldn't put that on mine! it's not like you can take it 4 xing or mudding! lol. if you want a "tougher" looking car, then get a true suv! and THEN put a brush guard on! http://www.performanceproducts.com they have great accessories for trucks and cars. i gave them a lot of money when i had my tundra.
I'm not sure how well that will work (fittment and looks), not to mention the extra weight. My opinion only, but it would definitely look odd to me on a hatchback/wagon and not a truck/suv. Billet grilles and a drop make it look much more aggressive than stock The JDM'd lights also add to the aggressive look, but so will Bluebat's upcoming eyelids.I'm going to bug Mr. Grille about the new lower grille again...who knows, maybe he's holed himself up in his shop until he pumps out 100 of 'em! lol it did take about 2 hrs for him to take the measurements, mold (or whatever he used), and cut/bends. I know this isn't anywhere near a crash bar, but it helps

I just don't think I'd be willing to risk scraping things on curbs and such...but it's still something to think about.(And those HIDs are awesome...I want. )

And why didn't you honk when you passed me? You missed my gun rack in the back window!!! hahahahaha, jk Anyhow, for reasons I can't explain, I have a picture in my head of the Vibe looking like a dune buggy of sorts once everything would be installed.
Just because you see Charlie doesn't mean I am a he....sometimes Charlie can be a she!!!!
I bet those bars would be a buggar to mount, considering how much of the front end is plastic and styrofoam!~~Z600BTW, I wanna see one of the AWD Vibes jacked up with some knobbies and a light bar on top!
