Found Out Something Interesting...

Post by MJN2 »

Was talking to my cousin's husband a few days ago. Last I had heard, he was working as the Promotion Manager for Chevy Trucks.Well, found out he's now working for Pontiac. We talked about my Vibe for awhile. He asked what I liked and didn't like about it, issues I've had, etc. He said that if I ever have an issue with my car and if my dealer needs a bit of a "push" to get things rolling, to just give him a call.Gotta love that

isn't it nice having fam in the auto biz. I went to a tech university on the outskirts of Detroit, most of the mech eng. grads were already working in the big 3 or teir1 suppliers. My uncle graduated from the same school in the 90's, from electrical eng., and is now working on the stereos for Nissan. Well, I also just leased a 2004 Nissan Altima, which has issues with the stereos.Time to check up on him and see what they have come up with!!

Yep, it comes in handy sometimes. My grandfather is retired from Ford, and I have a cousin that is an engineer at Ford World HQ in Dearborn, so I've got connections there as well My cousin's hubby is driving a GTO for a company car. I'm jealous This past weekend he had a Bonneville GXP. Nice car He also told me that the Grand Prix GXP is supposed to have a V-8 in it, which I hadn't heard about.

(envisioning my cash flow decreasing from poor fuel economy and a heavy foot similar to my tundra)my dad kicks himself for not getting the s/c impala... but it required premium fuel and was only like 20 hp more. he was too cheap. lol. but then he found out they were coming out w/ the ss impala... whew! he was upset he didn't wait!
