Don't worry. It's all open space down there. Nothing for it to cause trouble with. If you REALLY want to get it back, here's how.Remove everything from the console.Fully engage the parking brake.Lift up the carpet inside the armrest. Remove those two bolts.Under the little piece of carpet at the front end are two more bolts. Remove them.Begin to lift up the console, but not too much. There is a wire harness you have to remove that powers the hidden outlet. It might be easiest to get in the back seat with a flashlight and lift up and release the harness.Once that's unplugged, you can then remove the entire console. The coin likely would have disappeared down one of the sides between the body and carpet, but I often have seen them just sitting there staring at me.

thanks for the info...i'll forget about the penny, but your answer may help me with another issue...i have a handheld CB radio that has a 'car adaptor' which allows it to be connected to a power outlet and an external antenna. I want to attach the antenna to the passenger side small window at the back and then run the cable into the centre compartment from the bottom. That way i can keep the CB plugged in all the time and all the cables are in the centre console!.....but all this should be in another thread/topic i guess...i'll post pics and details when i get it done soon!thanks for your original response again...i'll get the penny when it comes time to do my other mod!

That's a good project, and very easy to do. If you need help, start a new thread, we'll help out!
