Definately looks like the driver was DOI. I would reserve judgement on whether this was attributable to racing until the final police report comes out. Seems a bit of a strange scenario to be judged immediately as street racing. No other cars involved, telephone pole was impacted at some distance off the ground. No doubt that the car was traveling at some incredible speed, but that is not automatically racing. I travel at great speeds sometimes and it has absolutely nothing to do with racing. I'd like to see a toxicology report on the driver as the first clue as to why this happened. Very sad to see this. With the way that pole impacted the car, the driver really had no chance.
