sideCracked door glass

Today while driving I noticed a line on my driver door glass.After looking at it I figured out it's a half inch long crack on the inside of the car. there is no marks or anything around it on the inside or outside. I just can't figure out how this happened.I cleaned the inside and out side yesterday, and there wasn't a crack then.has anyone else had this problem?I think it's defective because it right behind the mirror, So I doubt it was a stone from the outside and I don't wear rings or even a watch.I'm just stumped as to what could have cause this.

that's weird, maybe it was a defect, but getting a dealer to replace it under warranty might depend on how nice they are, and what kind of mood they are in
