My posts....

Post by maddmic »

Ok, who can help me with the formatting of my posts? Why in the world does the window for my post look barren? There's a huge emptiness, then words..... I've looked at my profile and can't find anything to change it.... Thoughts?

There is a certain amount of vertical space a post will take up, regardless of how much text you enter. The area for the text of a post will never be any smaller than the amount of space it takes up to show your username, title, avatar, on-line status, and location, and some more space under all that to space out posts to keep them from getting all jammed together. About the only thing you could do to fill up the space in short posts is give yourself a multi-line signature, or maybe one with a pic in it, and that will take up some of the space. The text is vertically centered in the space, so if you have a long one, it goes from top to bottom, but if you have a short post, it floats in the middle with a lot of blank space around it.this post should pretty much fill up the minimum vertical spaceyou could also set your avatar to a really small 1x1 picture, but I like avatars, just wish mine was animated like the gif file I uploadedbut a short post will have a lot of blank space around the text

Finally!Beinglongwindedactuallyhelps!I never thought about the vertical space required by the info on the left. Joatmon, you are once again, Jack of All Trades (but you may now be Master of a Few!).
