If anyone looks in the Vibe warranty and problems forum there is a thread by me about some dents I discovered on my car. If anyone has a dent popping kit that you think might work and your going to be at the MI meet could you let me know? I'd like to borrow it to pop them out at the meet or I'll be paying someone to do it afterwards cause they look awful and I need to get them removed. Thanks!

We've got a few slide hammers at work, but that is not what you're going to be looking for. It would require drilling the body panels and putty and paint work to complete the job. I've seen a couple of the type of dent poppers that you are looking for and I hear that they generally work quite well. I hope you can find one and avoid the costs of repairs.

I have one, but I won't be at the MI meet. You can use it if you stop by Madison. I doubt it'd be on your way though. I picked it up at Target for $20. Works like a charm. Perfect for your type of dents.

Would that be the Ding King?I saw that thing on TV, didn't think it actually worked...does it?If so, I got a nice sized dent on my driver door that's been bugging me to hell...

I have the Ding King. I used it to remove two smaller dents from the hood of my Civic when some jack@55 sat on my car. It does work very well for small dents (grapefruit sized), but will have a tough time with very large dents (soccer ball sized). Probably would not work at all if there is any creasing. It doesn't leave dents like zero suggested. But this would be perfect for Mavrik's dents.

Haven't had the opportunity to try it on a door ding (thankfully). It did come with a couple of different size parts for different size dents though. One was supposed to be for door dings.

I'd like to thing it would work somewhat well on doors...after all, I think door sheet metal is about as plyable as hood metal...if not a bit more...KWIM?

I was actaully referring to the door dings I have. I'd be scared to use it on my car. Especially with the dings being the soft spot of the door. I couls end up with 3 dents instead of one! Mavrik should definitely try it. Nothing to lose there.

Any feedback Mavrik.I found a dent on my front fender (probably caused by body flex while cornering) and would be great to remove it. It seems to only bother me (it is hard to see) but I know it is there and I want to remove it without repainting the whole thing.
Hey Phil now don't laugh at what I am going to tell you but it actually works and I tried it on my 96 Cavalier when I had a nasty little dent......I actually used a toilet plunger LOL and it worked like a charm....try that first and oh yeah make sure its clean first

I've got the Ding King too. Picked it up at target for about $20. And yes it does work. I used it on my wife's previous car a 2002 Buick rendezvous CXL. She hit our plastic mailbox and left quite a dent in the rear passenger door and rear quarter. It took me most of an afternoon to remove the dent(s). I can tell you that my handy work passed the lease turn-in inspection on the Buick, no excessive wear and tear as per the inspector. I wish I would have taken some before and after pics to illustrate. The thing will work, just need to be patient and make sure the area to be worked on is clean of dirt and wax. I ran out of the mystery fluid that came with the Ding King, but I can tell you that mineral spirits work just fine.

Well, I tried the ding king, and it's been dethroned. Didn't pull out my dent at all. I spent a good 20 minutes, each time I tried popping the dent, removing the glue it left behind. What a PITA, and it didn't help at all.

I bought one as well.I have a very small dent on my front driver fender.I tried to remoce this dent 3 times and it never worked. But hte dent is so little... it could be then answer. Probably if the dent was bigger it would work....
