Painting a Two-Tone Vibe

I want to paint my Two-Tone Vibe (Lava, Grey Plastic). I was thinking color matching, but that never works, and that would only bring it up to a factory option. So i was thinking a true two tone color scheme would be better. Tell me what you think and feel free to add color choices. Also, what especially needs ot be done when painting this plastic to make it last a long time.
