VW Golf R32

Post by Evanshall »

This looks to be the new benchmark for hatchbacks alike, all wheel drive, 240hp, 3400 pound, performance VW, no turbochargers or superchargers either on the 240hp engine!! so this engine still has alot of extra potential, from what ive read it can outhandle the Mitsubishi Evos, and Subarus STi models, even though it doesnt have the all out acceleration, it can appearently corner like no other, long live the hatchbacki hope i read that article righthttp://www.caranddriver.com/ar...=8006

Oh Yeah! Those are bad a$$ little cars, and expensive too. Hard to imagine that they could squeeze a V6 into something that small. I like VW styling, but I just don't like their price.

They are very nice cars, but they are up there in price. I am sure VW will sell them, they are great driving vehicles that have enough power to be fast, a quality interior, and great handling. Their biggest problem is the near $30K sticker price, which means there is some fierce competition. I am not saying it is overpriced. Just that there are many equally nice options to check out. In the ballpark are the aformentioned WRX STi and EVO. There are also sports cars like the 350Z, RX-8. Still, credit for VW for bringing it to market. Its a nice car.
