So, out of curiosity today, I decided, because I have nothing better to do, to see what parts are readily available for the Vibe. And amazingly enough, NOBODY except the dealer carried the brake pads and shoes for a 2003 Base (or GT for that matter) I checked the 3 auto parts stores in the area. Advance, AutoZone, and a local chain - Frank's auto supermarket. None of them had the part and Advance didn't even have the part number. Is this standard across the country or are we behind the times here?

I thought they were the same as celica but i haven't checked.
Vibe GT, TRD springs, Progress bar, STB, Unichip, Borbet E 16x7.5, 225/50 Bridgestone RE750, beefed up grounds and battery bypass capacitors(had em laying around)
Don't have one of those around here. Ordered OEM replacements from TireRack.com and got them for ~$35usd shipped. Cheaper than if I would have bought them at an auto parts store.
