I have 4k to blow on my summer vibe project. And I've been told I "have to get a supercharger" ... unfortiantly, i know absolutely nothing about the supercharger for the vibe... how much will it cost me and how much more *umph* will it get me?
well, that's sweet! check out this forum: forced induction you can also do a search for the s/c info... w/ the help of some aftermarket engine management, you can run some very impressive numbers!
Remember that those percentages are not at peak numbers. Closer to 20% with a great torque curve and well worth it on a base.
Vibe GT, TRD springs, Progress bar, STB, Unichip, Borbet E 16x7.5, 225/50 Bridgestone RE750, beefed up grounds and battery bypass capacitors(had em laying around)
and keep in mind its for the Vibe not the Vibe GT, just incase!! im sure you know which vibe you got, but beleive it or not they onlly make the supercharger for the base vibe, i think it could work on AWD just isnt recommended for whatever reason(All wheeld drive model has the same engine as Base Vibe)Base Vibe/AWD Vibe=VVT-i 1ZZ EngineVibe GT=VVTL-i 2ZZ Enginei have 2k to possibly blow but i dought ill get to blow any of it as well raider if you have any money left over a "Unichip" will not only help performance, but Gas milage, and overall engine stability, it goes for about 730 USD, about what would be left over after purchasing a Supercharger, it will help alot!!, in basically every way possible
