Here they are! Been trying to keep this under wraps except for a few select people...They are Flik Wasp's Anthracite 18x7.5's with 33 mm offset wrapped in Kumho Ecsta 711 225/40/18. I got them from Edge Racing. The wheels are 22 lbs and tires are 21.5. So I should be pretty close to stock 17" weight. The Flik wheels are pretty big with the V-Dub and Audi crowd. I figured I couldn'y go wrong with something that's used on upper end cars. I'm really pleased with the look and feel it gives to the car. I've waited long enough to get the darn things! Looked everywhere until I found these and they just hit me!I paid a total of $962.55. Mounted, balanced, lugs, and shipped! Hard price to beat! Without further BS'ing...here they are!
one of the best looking vibes i've seen!(no offence to all you others out there...)my dealership has a black vibe with similar 18" rims on in the showroom but it's not lowered and the rims are all chrome....yours definitely looks better!
I have signatures turned off so I'm not even sure what mine says in this space!
I was out in Ashburn this weekend, savedbyzero. I kinda' wanted to meet up and have a beer with you and check out your vibe, but my weekend was crazy as hell. Next time I'm out there I'll hit you up. Great looking wheels, by the way!
'04 base model, abyss, manual.Mods: Removed roof racks & Vibe badging; added reflective black overlays to front & steering wheel Pontiac stars; shorty antenna; Tein S-tech springs; 18x8" Mille Miglia EV-S wheels; black calipers; 17% tint all around; Mr. Grille billet grille; Silverstar headlights, foglights, & turn signals; custom "fatigue mat" mats in cargo area; & tinted license plate cover.
Looks awesome Brad! Well, not as awesome as mine , just kidding! We have the two best looking Vibes in Virginia and DC area! We need to go cruising down the highway together for fun, get lots of stares probably.Later,
Justin 2003 Vibe GT - Mille Miglia Evo5 18x8 Wheels (now stock)- Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust (now stock)- Tein S-Tech Springs (now stock)- Injen CAI - Red Painted Calipers - Hella Supertone Horns - Polk Speakers - Bazooka RS8A-HP Sub - Kenwood Headunit - Still love my Vibe, but I've just turned it back into a basic daily driver.
I got quite a few, "what the f' is that car?" looks yesterday after install! It seems after lowering and wheels, the Vibe takes on even more originality and people really don't have a clue what it is! I love that about this car!
I had to wait quite awhile for these bad boys and they're at the low end of the price range! Yuo just gotta be committed to saving the money. I also sold my turntables on ebay which helped out A LOT!Find some random crap laying around that you no longer use, (like those neons under the car...J/K! ) and throw it up on ebay! quickest way to make some extra cash!
looks good! makes me want to get some rims for mine... ok, so i've been wanting to get rims for mine for awhile now, but lack funds to do so. oh well. i think i'm pretty much done really on mods for the vibe. spent way too much on it already.
