Now I know that there are some rules here about posting pics etc.... Now just so everyone knows....I put in a post with a link to a website that had some partial nudity in it. I did put on the Topic Title Warning:Adult Content. However this post was deleted because of the content from the link. None of the pics were posted on Genvibe directly. My question is......how is it ok to post a link of an American getting beheaded and not one of partial nudity? To me....it seems that some "adjustment" to the rules is needed....or clarification.

That seems to be a different interpretation of the rules than what I read as well. I thought that there were to be no nudity pics POSTED here. Links were ok as long as it contained the adult content warning. I'm not arguing the interpretation, just stating that I found it confusing as well.

It clearly stated adult content and was only a link. We've had much worse on the site.

We do allow linking to other web sites on this forum. But any links leading to the following sort of sites will be deleted right away. No links to Porn Sites, "how to" posts on illegal subjects and Racist sites. If we find any links to these site then they will be removed. If that isn't detailed enough we can make the necessary changes but it is implied in my opinion.Quote, originally posted by DjDoubleLP »My question is......how is it ok to post a link of an American getting beheaded and not one of partial nudity? The beheading threads have already been deleted shortly after they were posted here. You are correct that adjustment and more clarification of the rules will have to be done and are being worked on currently. Some things did get a little out of hand.Hope you and everyone else understand where we are coming from.

If it was porn, which I would considering two people naked doing it like rabbits....then yes....I would want that deleted. But these pics are of women flashing.....it is not like any of us have never seen boobs before. I understand that some people would be offended by this....hence why I put the warning on the topic.

Yep, that's why I said that adjustment and more clarification of the rules will have to be done and are being worked on currently. If a topic is deleted, an IM will usually accompany the deletion to notify the poster of why and when it was removed.Stay tuned.

First off, I agree with you...I think a warning is enough, but that's just me. However, I don't think the beheading video was directly linked. I think I was the only one to post a link, but it was a link to a site where you had to DIG to find the link to ANOTHER site where the vid was hosted. I didn't just post a direct link to it, nor do I recall anyone else doing so. I just wanted to make that clear.EDIT: Nevermind, I do seem to remember someone else posting a direct link to the video .
wow... you guys must have been quite busy this weekend while i was gone! geeze!!!! but good to know that folks can discuss such hot topics without blowing any gaskets!

In cases like this, I think that the intent of the photo dictates whether it is lewd or not. Things like National Geographic and the like I would not consider lewd. Stupid drunken college chicks riding around showing the world their goods is a far cry from National Geographic status.
