Can you swap a NAV stock unit for in CD radio? I already have a CD changer.

You can swap out the Nav for an in-dash player (6 disc or single disc), but cannot reuse the changer. The other two head units have no way to interface with that changer.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

What do you know about the changer? I see it is made by Pioneer. Do changers have a common method of connection to head units? If possible, I'd like to swap my CD changer out for a Mini-Disc changer.Thanks.

Nope. No can do. As far as I know, the only company that made MD changers is Sony, and you can only interface sony changers with sony HU. The fact that the Nav system has a Pioneer changer is a misnomer. The changer uses the GM 12pin interface, and not IP-Bus (the Pioneer standard). You might be able to change the changer for another GM 6-disc, but that's probably it. I don't think anyone makes a GM 12-pin interface to a Sony changer. Also, Mike is correct, neither the stock 1-disc or the in-dash 6-disc will work with the Nav changer.
