Calgary Meet #2 Pics

Well, the second gathering of VMX.cal (Vibe, Matrix and the x factor Celica in Calgary - don't worry guys, I'm just arbitrarily assigning this name until we acutally pick a name) which was the subject of much discussion and planning was held earlier today.Since I arrived late, meeting up with the gang apres-car show at the Vietnamese restaurant, you'll have to hear the details of bikini-clad models and such from the others. Me, I've got the all-important pics!What a gorgeous bunch! From L-R: Celtic_Curse, celica girl, VibeChick, DjDoubleLP, and SWiRv. (The cars L-R: VC's new asbyss 5-sp. and DJ's Super-Bling Matrix) DJ is our newest member, coming down for the weekend all the way from Fort McMurray. He promises to make it for many future meets, only because what is a 7-hour drive for most ends up being a tick over 2 hours for him. C'est moi, showing off the purdy Viberant Thing dressed up in my new Cloud Rider grills, which Triton was kind enough to pass along to me after he decided they weren't for him. I'm totally delighted with them - they look fantastic against the black (doesn't everything go with black?) and add a distinctive look without being too bling. Keen eyes may also notice the black arrowhead overlay, courtesy of GrafxWerks. I've installed the reflective overlays on all of my Vibe GT badging and the arrowheads on the front and back of the car and the steering wheel. I haven't seen them yet at night, but I like the look of them in daylight for sure, very slimming .DJ shows he's down wit da Flames and the vinyl Flaming C that coordinates so well with the dual window flags the Viberant Thing is sportin'. Go Flames Go!From the parking lot of McMahon Stadium, home to the CFL Calgary Stampeders, the lineup: CC's Frosty, VC's Abyss, DJ's Super-Bling Matrix, the Viberant Thing, SWiRv's Salsa. JC is hiding her X-Factor Celica, but without her we all know there'd be no VMX.cal.

Great Job Keely posting the pics, I had a great time again, it's always fun to meet up and see everyone. I have another set of pics to post but haven't figured out how to post them the way you did. For those interested didn't get a shot of the bikini contest but I have other pics from the import car show we were at. As soon as I get help figuring out how to post them I'll put them up. here we go thanks Keely this is a pick of some of the Ladies walking around I couldn't help myself. This is a pic of one of the sweet cars there. This was a cool interior shot about color matching everything inside. a view of the event going on in the Olympic Oval. the other half of the event. Cool lookin Honda. Seriously done up Tibby. Genuine GTR Skyline. The Alpine Show car....A little too much bling bling. Pic's of the Gang sorry about the quality. Another Pic of the Gang...deep in techno talk. There is everyone and the elusive CG still talkin about the Cars. The reason for all the Talk Mikes sweet Trix. looks like you had a great meet! will definitely need details.. but i'm sure i'll get some from carrie soon. LOLand i like those grills on your abyss much better than the neptune.... just looks better imho.

I definetely had a great time meeting everyone. Gotta say......Jackie.......NICE CAR. Just a shame that you didn't want to race me. Guess you knew that I would beat you and did not want to be embarassed in front of everyone. Of course the fun part was letting Keely drive my car. Just wish that she would have hit lift so I can hear and see my car when it does that. Oh well.......next time. Ivan......WHAT IS WITH YOU AND THE GIRLS?? And how come you didn't tell me????? Wait until your wife finds out......... I do have to thank Irvin for introducing me to Vietnamese food. Very nice! However......word of caution.....dont eat noodles then go and drink lots later that night. Two words.....toilet hugger. UGH......not a pleasant night.And of course Carrie. Very nice car.......and of course it was really nice to actually meet you face to face and spend some quality time together. I am sure that will be doing that again soon.Well I can not wait for the next meet in June hopefully.....and we can install some CAI's.

man... you guys have so much fun, so many Vibe members in like that nice close area... And the Matrix and Celica to. But in ontario... am I like the only one that would love to hang out with the other Vibers? I spend all my time with honda owners...
