well as i guess you can tell by the topic I had a bout of bad luck today. I filled up my brand new truck with 27 1/2 gallons of gas only to drive 7 miles and have it cut out on me. Seems some dummy at the shell station when they got new fuel put 500 gallons of in the plus tank and 500 gallons of plus in the diesel tank. Needless to say after being towed in and having 1067.84 dollars of repairs which the Dash-In chain is paying for I will not have a truck for the next three days. If you do ever get bad gas or think you have a bad tank of gas do not attempt to drive what so ever. I have to have the entire fuel system removed and flushed on my truck. And I only had 1800 miles on it...
Had a friend fill his Camero with kerosene before. Same thing...they filled the gas tanks with some kerosene by mistake. This was of course in the Michigan U.P.

I feel your pain, back in the old days when we still had lead in our gas some dummy put leaded fuel in my car in Wawa. I was traveling back to school after a long weekend, after a few hundred k's it was running bad..........had to stop. The guy at the shop had to change the cat.............$800. When I went back to the service station that sold me the gas, they just said "show me the reciept" and joked about it. Next time on the way by I used the washroom........my aim was very bad............... out both ports.
Well the damage came to a total of 1067.94 which of course the Dash In chain of gas stations is paying. Hopefully nothing else will go wrong. I had a lawyer draw up a disclaimer that I am forceing them to sign against furthur trouble
