Help

Post by MassVibe »

I recently bought a vibe, but after driving it for a month I find the positioning of the steering wheel in respect to my seating uncomfortable. The reach is too far for my arms. I cant give the car back to dealer. I really love the car just not the crappy steering wheel setup. Any suggestions?

due to the large amount of headroom (I know cause I'm fricken tall lol) can't you tilt the seat forward to bring you closer while at the same time keeping the seat back for that leg room?

Try also adjusting the height of the seat by turning the knob on the left side. I found it was uncomfortable until I raised the seat to it's highest position. Now i'm golden.

I have my seat about 3/4 to the max height and everything is within perfect reach. I find it to be very uncomfortable to have the seat all the way down, everything would be too far to reach. Sitting more upright, I find it very comfortable except I wish the door had a armrest in a better position.

The steering wheel was definatly in a wierd spot when I first drove my Vibe. I did get used to it after a little while. I just drove my Dad's Dakota (the one that I owned before my Vibe) and I actually found the steering position in that uncomfortable. And I drove that for four years!! So give it a little while more, I find my car very comfortable now.
