Over the weekend I was at Meijer (in Auburn Hills) and saw my first Vibe SS. I'm not kidding. It was monotone Neptune and had some ugly 17 inch chrome wheels on it. The worst part was the giant (5 inches, at least!) silver SS stickers to the right of the Vibe logos.I'll bet someone paid a lot for that dealer rice

Probably an in-dealer special. some dealers will make up promotion models and change the price. We do that at the dealership I work at. You can't buy a Tracker XXL anywhere else

Yeah, I knew it was a dealer special as soon as I saw it. I'm really into cars and it kind of bothers me when dealers do this. Someone paid a lot for a model that, essentially, does not exist.

And the stupidest part is that Pontiac never used the "SS" designation on any of their cars. That was a strictly Chevy thing. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
