Hi...I use Turtle Wax 2001 Super Protectant. It's good for the vinyl and leather in the vehicle and contains a sun-block to help prevent fading. I'm not sure if Armor-All has that or not. I swore off the Armor All stuff a long time ago after bucket seats in my Calais cracked bad. I'm sure it's better now.The dash is an odd thing to protect. When I used a vinyl cleaning wipe (without protectant), it left wipe marks, almost like suede does. When I did the protectant, it did the same, even after wiping it off with a clean cloth. After a few days, it leveled out.I would strongly recommend applying, letting sit for a few minutes then come back and remove any excess with a soft, lint-free cloth. That gives the vinyl a good protective layer without there being a lot of product beading up and causing streaks. Hope this helps...Dave

I'm not sure if Armor-All has that or not.Yes, it does. I've been using the Armor-All protectant wipes on my dash and have found that if I go over it twice with a wipe that is still wet, that I have no problems. Some people say that using a product like Armor-All attracts and holds dust to the dash. That doesn't seem to be the case for me once it has dried. Some also don't like having the dash too shiny, so there are low gloss dash protectants on the market. Some here have reported postive results with them. Others find that the best way to clean the dash is with a clean rag and warm water. I guess it just depends on what you want the dashboard to look like.

Personally, I use this:Quote »More Shine Less Time for Vinyl Plastic & RubberMore Shine Less Time is the fast, easy way to make auto trim look brand new.No rubbing or wiping -- Just spray and walk away. Restores brilliance and shine to interior trim in seconds. More Shine Less Time is an easy-to-use, spray-on coating, that instantly shines and brightens dull or faded rubber, vinyl, plastic, and other surfaces. Restores color and brilliance to black bumpers, convertible tops, dashboards, seating, gearshift boots, AC vents, hoses, tires, door gaskets, and other auto trim. It even hides ugly white wax marks on black exterior trim. Here's how it works:QUICK - needs NO wiping!EASY - needs NO rags!CLEAN - NO dirty hands or mess!SMOOTH - doesn't streak or run!FAST - just spray and walk away!Saves Time & Money - No Wiping, More Concentrated, Less Wasteful.More Shine Less Time utilizes a proprietary High-Active formula and Wipe-FREE aerosol technology. Just spray it on. You don't "wipe and waste" like with drippy, milky products that are too time consuming and streaky. Great for hard-to-wipe areas like dashboards or when in a hurry, like at the carwash. Even shines wet tires and trim! Best of all, when you use More Shine Less Time, you'll protect your vehicle from damaging sunlight and UV rays.I used this on my A-pillar trim back in February as a product test and they're STILL shiny!I love this stuff. I'll get around to doing the whole dash in a few weeks I hope...

YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
I use both Formula 2001 and Armour All. I am not a real big fan of the wipes so I use the old fashioned spray and rag. I think the dash in the Vibe is very flat, I have never had a problem with it being too shiny. I would experiment with different products untl you find something you like. But I wouldn't worry about a shine off the dash.
I have also been using the Armor-All protectant wipes in my car. Its very handy for a quick clean up during morning traffic jams. Just keep the can in your glove box. IMHO, it looks better than it did from the dealer when I'm done.
