who has done mods to the 04's

Post by syclnjr »

Hey all thought that I would check in to see who of us has 04's and who has done mods to them, mostly engine. I want to put on a cold air intake but I want to make sure that I am not going to get CEL's and such. So if you guys that have 04's could let me know the brand and the things that you have done that would be awesome thankslater

as some of you know I had a run in with a little punk girl that scrathed the hell out of my fender so I am going to milk the insurance and her parents for the matter for all it is worth to get some "free" mods. Here is the link to the thread if you would like to read the details on this screwed incident. http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=9648 Later

Well engine mods I have not done yet to my 04. But a CAI is on the list marked NEXT lol. All I got is a shifter knob and rims on the car.

Cool guys thanks. I am sure that the magnaflow fits just like original. And being that you have a short ram Fushion that is cool too. I am looking for anyone that has installed promarily a CAI on there 04 I keep looking at the loaction under the hood behind the headlight just above the foglight where the tubing would run and with that air pump in there I don't think that there is any way to get the tubing and the filter in there. I don't know I just am really making sure that I can make the stuff fit before I buy it thanks again guys maybe there is someone out there that has actually put on a CAI on an 04. Later

I believe on the '04 GT there is an extra air pump which may change which CAI model you will be able to use.

Hey all Sunny you are right there is an extra airpump underneath behind the fog light, I believe that Injen makes one for my specific GT and also does Cosmo. I am leaning towards the Cosmo though due to price since I really can't constitute paying almost 300 for the same thing really. Even if I have to buy a regular Kand N rather than the one they send with the Cosmo kit I will still be saving 150 bucks. lunchbox thanks for the link I book marked it about a month ago. And virtually the engine compartments are exactly the same it is just where the filter goes is where I am worried about. Thanks guys
