taillight paint

Post by aj3445 »

I"m thinking about tinting my taillights but before I did I wanted to see how it would look on my 3rd brake light to see the effects. I used nite-shades transparent black paint. Also, I started painting and didn't take pictures before hand. So, if somebody could take a couple of pictures of their 3rd brake light. Here's a few pics if anyone is curious to see how it came out.

Did you paint the inside, or the outside of the lens? It looks pretty good. Can't really tell with the glass in front of it though.

I open the glass hatch and painted the front of the red lense. I walked past a couple of Vibes today and through the window you can see alittle red but mines is all black. So I'm pretty happy with it. I really want to do the taillights but they seem they are going to be a pain to remove.
