How do remove scratches in the plastic?I recently bought a VIBE (blk mono) and I love the room for hauling my design work. The only thing is that I already have scratches all over the interior bed in the back. Is there any way to remove them? I assume the plastic is ABS. Will buffing help? Are there cargo mats that fit the entire length with the seats folded down? Also, where can I pick up mountain bike clips to fit my roof rack?

Well, ya know, you could very carefully sand the scratches, with progressively finer sandpaper until the worst of the offensive marks are gone. If the scratches are small enough, you may not even need to sand them at all. Then lightly spray a colour match paint on the plastic. I work in an assembly plant and this is how we repair minor scratches on new vehicles before they are shipped. There is a paint that matches perfectly the interior plastic colour and texture (flat) and when sprayed on lightly you cannot tell there ever was a scratch there. Do you really think any automaker could afford to replace an entire dashboard because there is a little scratch on it? Nope. We touch em' up. All interior trim can be repaired using this method. You'd never know and it doesn't hurt ya. After you repair the scratches, use some of the above suggestions to protect the surface from future damage. Now get to work!

These 'ENCASE' trunk liners look pretty nice, and the price is right. Anyone here tried one yet. I'd like to know if they are a soft rubber texture or hard rubber. The only colour is black, so how does the black look in the vehicle? Any info would be appreciated. I'd like to get one before my VIBE arrives (no rush then I guess)

Sissy! If you wanted a car that wouldn't scratch, you should have bought a different car. Not saying that I won't curse up a storm the first time I see a scratch on my car, but unfortunately that is the way it is. I just placed a non-slip mat on the floor and hope that it will do the job.

I knew it would be scratched (it was), but as you said, that is what is meant for... and it will get "scarred" over time. I said that to myself and I was fine afterwards.... I plan on buying a cargo mat though..
