I bit the bullet and bought a supercharger. I need to find a installer in town, anyone knows of any installer?did call Pontiac dealers in town. most never even heard of a supercharger let alone installing one. the one that heard of it told me that they would charge by the hour, but don't know how long it would take because they never installed one.how much was your install (at any dealer/shop)?thanks !!

I saw a supercharged Vibe in the showroom at Rydell Pontiac in Van Nuys (818) 267-1400 when I was shopping around for my Vibe back in November. They also have a sister Pontiac dealer in San Fernando (818) 361-8655. They must have installed it themselves. Give them a try.
just called them, and they want $640 to install supercharger !! the standard rate should be 6 hours. on Matrix forum, average price is about $480.

Yeah, I would try to find a Pontiac Dealer that would agree to 6hrs. I mean , that is how you will get the longer warranty isn't it??Otherwise , go to the toyota dealers that the matrix guys are going to. If you dont care about dealership...you could even drive out to Stafford Fabrications , I see them install SC's all the time...theyre probably about 90minuts from where you are...Its gotta be frustrating though, to buy this factory released SC, and all the dealers are acting like you are asking them to put a Ford part on your GM car.

Definatly check with Toyota cause I know they should offer to install it. I spoke to a fellow at Toyota here in my area and he said they would install mine when I got it if I didn't have anyone else to. Its quoted as a 4hr install though in the information I have but I agree with everyone else. Don't get it done by a dealership that doesn't even know what it is. This isn't a straight time install, there is a book time so they can't charge over it.
