The SRT is basically the outgoing Mercedes SLK32 platform and engine, I think it'll be an incredible bargain at +/- $40k. MrRich, where'd you get that little link that gives a person's IP and provider info? That's pretty cool

This car in the coupe form is just wierd. It looks really good from certain angles, and really bad from others. But the deal breaker on it is the cabin? Anyone tried to sit in one of these things? What a pain!It has unusually high side sills, remeniscent of a C4 Corvette. Except this car is more difficult to get in. For whatever reason,it felt to me like the door opening was too far towards the back of the car, making it difficult to sit down and then swign your legs over that high sill and then up and into the foot well. Once inside, it is very small and cramped. For whatever reason, it seems a lot worse than an SLK roadster to me. I am sure the SRT-6 goes like stink, but its way too cramped interior just stinks. Its so annoying as to ruin the whole car. I am also not that big either, 6 foot and in good shape. So I cannot imagine large Americans even being able to climb behind the wheel.
Notice he said large "Americans" and not large "people", I guess we're all just obese *******s. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go steal a cop's jelly doughnuts.

There is a growing concern that it is reaching epidemic levels and could cause serious problems. Its been in papers and on the news quite a bit lately. Children who can no longer bend over to pick up a toy off the floor they are so overweight. Besides, I didn't say fat or obese because I was not referring just to weight challenged people. Someone who is 6'4" will simply not fit in this car, whether they resemble a bean poll or a beach ball.
Not sensitive at all, that's why I said I was gonna go steal a jelly doughnut and winked. Americans are the most obese people in the world, which is kinda sad that people won't get off their lazy bums and work out or at least eat healthy. I take care of my body, and I stay in shape, so I've nothing to worry about.
Silver, my post wasn't even a reply to you, it was to Fformula88. You misunderstood a few things, I'll IM you rather than being off-topic.I'm not sure what the difference between the times is, but weight can play a major factor. That's why a lot of people (My brother included) pull out their backseats, and some even pull out the passenger seat upfront. Anyone know offhand the times of the roadster and the coupe? 1/4 mile or 0-60?
Oops! Sorry, didn't mean to inadvertently get a flame going here! I misunderstood Falchar, sorry! As for the car, I would certainly take a convertable over the coupe anyday. The rounded back end of the coupe just doesn't look right with the angular front end, but I think it looks really good as a convertable.
