I just noticed that he was born the same year as my dad and died about a year before my dad did. I know my dad liked his music (I probably still have some Marvin Gaye 33 1/3 LP's around the basement.) Marvin Gaye was a great musician and gave us many great songs that have become classic. Even I enjoy many of them. Really a shame that he had to die so relatively young in such a tradgic way.
