Does anyone know of a good and cheap steam cleaner out there, preferably something with an attachment so I can steam clean the VIBE? I don't want to go out and spend a crapload of $$ on a professional steam cleaner.

I would be very interested in knowing this as well. I really need to clean the interior (seats, carpet, the whole works) of my Vibe before the MI meet. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, some of our local large grocery stores rent them. I have one at home that is similar to the rental ones that I always used to steam clean the interior of my cars with.I strongly recommend using a product called Dri-Clean by Blue Coral to clean the upolstry with. Its what I always used on my cars and on the cars I detailed when I did that as a side job. Poopy, you can get it at Frank's Auto Supermarket in Olympia Shopping Center. I used to get mine there all the time. It used to come in a clear spray bottle and was a pink colored liquid, I think it's still the same. I would spray it on spots to soak them and scrub them with a brush a bit, then would take the spray nozzle off the bottle and put the soap feed tube for the steam cleaner into the bottle and feed it through the machine instead of the crappy soap they sell in the grocery store where you rent the machines. Always made the interior clean up like new!

i just bought a bissel little green clean machine today. sears new was a 100 bucks i found on refurbished at value city for 40 dollars. it might be the crappy soap they give but i treated it with armor all foaming upholstery cleaner then used the machine. it pulled out a lot of dirt. but it would lot even better professionally done. its a lot of work (my car was filthy) and im very lazy. its probably better for in between cleanings. ill try some better soap next time. but ill still get it detailed.mine has the non powered brush mabey the power brush model works better.

I have a Bissel steam cleaner, the larger canister type (looks pretty much like a shop-vac). They used to be pretty expensive, but I think that they are pretty reasonable now. Like someone else said, try Sears. Mine has the regular attachment for cleaning the carpets in the house and a smaller attachment for cleaning funiture that I use on the car.
