The Vibe had enough room for the 4 of us, along with waders, salmon rods, vests, and a big cooler. Round trip was around 325 miles, and the 2 in the back noted how much room they had. I think I'll like this better than my old Cavalier.Below is a pic of the loaded up Vibe, and a pic of a friend of mine holding one of the fish he landed. I only landed one, but we had a blast. We were on the Manistee River, just down from Tippy Dam for those of you who are from Michigan. I've never been there when there's been more fish than I saw yesterday. (and I've been there MANY times) Later,Carl
Nice on, nothing like it.................I fished on the Norh Shore of Lake Superior for 18 years. rainbows, lakers, specs, sturgeon, walleye and pike. Unless you live there you can't put it into words.....................There is no shore like the north shore....................thats for shore!

I haven't even been up on any streams in the U.P. in 30 years. Maybe some day I'll make it up there. The streams down here have been raped for many years, and are so crowded that it's not as much fun as it once was.
Ya,The snow train from the Soo is a great time, I went on it last year. Trailered the sleds from Sudbury to the Soo, Loaded up the sleds downtown got on the train and made the treck to Dubreuilville. Drove our sleds off the train, stayed the night the rode back to the Soo.....it was a two day ride back. When I go back for visits to the home town we still snorkle down the streams to scout out the hot spots. Even now you can fish all day and not see anybody else. I love fishing specs from creeks. Just bring a few rods, lures, frying pan, an onion, and some butter. Catch 'em, clean 'em fry 'em, and eat 'em....................mmmmmmmmmmmm. [Modified by old man winter, 9:08 AM 9/29/2002]

Thats funny...........that is why I started to snorkle in the first place. When we were kids we would go to all the busy spots and find tackle...............Then we got bad. We use to set up old bed springs in spots where people would cast..........made money selling to others so we could buy good rods and reels.
