I was watching some movie on USA and they ran the first 10 minutes of the Dawn of the dead, and now I want to go see it. I rememberr "Night of the living Dead" an old black and white low budget. I guess it was campy, but it was pretty good. About the only horror flick that ever really creeped me out though was the first Exorcist movie. (shudders) still have a hard time watching that one.

Night of the Living Dead was a good movie, they play it on cable sometimes, usually more around Halloween. There were actually 2 versions of that movie, they tried to update it a little about 10 years ago by adding in black and white scenes that were shot at the time of the remake. The added in scenes are really obvious and do nothing for the movie, I actually thought they were really stupid. Night of the Living Dead was originally filmed here in Pittsburgh. My former roommate told me they used a cemetary near his house for the main scenes of the movie.

I saw Day of the Dead several years ago. Of what I remember it was OK, but it wasn't great. It has kinda become a cult classic. I kinda want to see the new one but I might wait until it comes out on video.

I saw that movie on Friday night, I thought it was pretty good. It has humor, action, and some scary parts too. Pretty all around good flick.
