I got Cruise now!

Just got a cruise control put on Friday. Its so great. They put it on the left side of the steering wheel and its adjustable up or down. .

is it a separate switch or something? can you post some pics of what it looks like. i have cruise from the factory, but just curious on the a/m.

It is an actual lever with an end button to set your speed, then an on/off switch then a push switch for resume. Go to audiovox.com put cruise control into search and there should be one similiar. I have to admit I don't know how to post pix. But If someone could tell me how I will try.

Well when you get a pic on your computer, click on browse to select the pic, select the pic, click ok and post. Only one pic per post though.They mounted it on the left? on the steering column? The stock cruise control is mounted on the right on the steering column.

Every other vehicle we have ever owned had the cruise on the lefthand side so its not been hard to get used to. It looks like its always been a part of the Vibe. They drilled a hole in the column and wired it in to the electronics that controls the gas pedal. They put a throttle adapter on. I also got a quote for power locks. They can put actuators in the doors and you can have remote locks. You just have to find a place that will and are knowledgable. They had done a Matrix also. I will post a picture as soon as I can.

A pic sounds good. This is one thing I want to do to my Vibe that isn't increasing HP or appearance lol. I miss my cruise.
