I just picked up my Vibe today!!Its Fusion Orange with 16 alloys, power package, a couple of nets, that carpet thing in the trunk, and I think thats it. (it's a manual)Anyway, my name is Kris Genthe (male), I'm 20 and this is my first new car purchase. My former ride was a 97 Sunfire GT (stick, purple). I am currently in my last semester at a tech colloege in a Microcomputer Specialist program (associates degree). I plan on moving to Green Bay (WI) soon and start my career.I new I wanted a Vibe or Matrix because of how functional the interior was. I liked all the little touches like hidden power source, and the A/C outlet. I really liked how the back seats folded flat and offered a ton of space. I chose the Vibe over the Matrix because of the style. I only wish the roof rack wasn't standard.I chose a base Vibe because I wanted the option of getting a supercharger in the future. I also plan on lowering it a little and getting a new hood.I don't think I have much else to say. I can't wait to start getting more involved in this community!

Mine was a 97 Cavalier Z-24 (Stick, Green) I really liked that car. fairly quick, handled 200% better than the Vibe at X-way (+) speeds. You'll find the site very friendly and useful.
Thanks for all the kind words!I noticed before that a few of you guys are former J-Body owners. Great little cars if you have the 2.4 Twin Cam engine. I havn't really let the Vibe loose (want to break it in gently) but I am going to assume it is quite a bit slower. Oh well, that's what money is for... hehe
