Evo out in the cold

Post by frostyGT »

Early last January, my sister drove up from Ca to visit. She and her husband drove up in her new Evo VIII. Pretty sweet car...but while they were here, we got hit by a storm. As the temps dropped and the snow fell, who got the garage...really not a hard decision Last pic is my daughter playing in the snow...behind her is my Vibe snug in the garage!

I think If it was me I would have had to give the EVO the garage. My garage has a rule....coolest car gets the shelter. BTW...beautiful pics....so sharp!

I don't really care for it either. Even though it is listed as an "option", she couldn't find one that didn't have the spoiler. At least the car has the umph to back it up.There was a solid sheet of ice covering the entire car about 1-2" thick. It was pretty cool, but it was impossible to get into the car. When we did get in, I let them put it in the garage to thaw out.I drove the Evo around in the snow, and it was alot harder to drive than the Vibe. The tires are strctly summer, and the back-end had a tendency to push a bit. The fwd Vibe was much more agile on its pos Contis. But driving it on the pavement...Simply amazing!

I can't help that I love that car from front to back. I would love to drive one and Evo sometime.
