If I'm not mistakin, It looks like those are 17's. It says it in between the spokes on the last picture. On the rim itself. They do look nice too. How you like the Kumho's?

Thanks everyone. I'm really happy with the way they turned out.Quote, originally posted by trdvibe »frosty, looks great w/ white rims! what size are those again?Wheels are 17" and tires are 225/45.As far as the Kumhos go, they seem pretty nice. I haven't had a chance to really test them yet. I have a set of AVS ES100s which are the same size on my wife's car, and those seem to be quieter than these. However, I wouldn't say these tires are loud, but there is a bit more noise than stock. With the Tein springs and the new wheels, it doesn't drive quite as smooth as it used to...but it sure is more fun now

Did that change your speedometer at all? I don't think there would be a big diffence but just checkin.Just seen your first post also, tire/rim size are right there-lol

But the 215/50r17 are the stock tire size when ordering a Vibe with 17's right? If that's the case I'll check into prices on those also. Alot of the tires I was lookin at don't come in 215/50. Maybe I'll have better luck with the 225/45.

I have priced out 215/45R17 kumho tires for my Vibe, yours look pretty sweet, any probs? Think I should price out 225 or stick with the 215? Nice rims to, the tires look perfect in those wheel wells, your Vibe lowered?

Nice rims to, the tires look perfect in those wheel wells, your Vibe lowered? Thanks! When I checked prices, the difference between the 215/45 and 225/45 was only $3 for the Kumho 711s. Although I got mine at Tire Rack, Edge Racing was actually about $20 cheaper.http://www.edgeracing.comAnyone ever asks me, I will swear by 225s forever. The narrower tire will possibly give you better snow/wet traction and will be a little more comfortable, but the 225s just perform better and look better...IMHO. The cost difference is minimal, so you just need to decide what is most important to you.My vibe is lowered with Tein springs...If you put aftermarket wheels on the Vibe, then I think you have to lower it. Why have agressive wheels with that high SUV-like stance? Only my opinion though.

So that wide tire isn't rubbing on anything, its all good? I got P215/45R17 kumho tires priced out at $122 including install... I'll have them price me out P225 tires. I want to keep that tire diameter size % as close as possible and if your only .4% off. I like that. Also these are just my summer tires... I will run 16" winters in the winter. Once I have a body kit on my Vibe, then I'll lower it.

I like those Icon wheels you got there. I ordered the monotone black Vibe with sports package. These are the wheels I was lookin into. Like $180/each for the wheels and I got the Mastercraft LSR's waiting for the wheels. LSR's were $104/each. Got raodhazzard on them and I get to install myself. I like that idea. Then I know there's not gonna have any marks on them, until my wife touchs a curb with them. lol

Your wheels look great on the frosty vibe. Last year at the Mi. meet a new member showed up with wheels similar to yours.

Those rims in that pic look pretty sweet. Originally I was going for chrome but saw the gunmetal and got sold on them. But your Vibe is black with the sports appearance package? Those rims would make that car look tough.

That car looks sweet. Those are the Motegi MR-7's or maybe Exel TZ-7's both the same wheel. That was my first choice.

Yep, I've got them sitting in my room LOL (ok, 1 is in the room, other three in boxes outside hehe). I wanted to get everything done at once - total car transformation . So, this Friday, I'm taking my car to either Sprewell Racing (friend works there) or Pro Audio/Performance (local shop I've known through good friends) to install the following stuff that's been piling up:- Hotchkis springs- Magnaflow cat-back exhaust- AEM CAI- Gourmet Garage ground wires- Progress rear sway bar- 4x cross-drilled & slotted rotors- EBC greenstuff brakepads- painted calipers- rims / tiresI was going to try my hand at the intake and exhaust, but I just don't have the time to spend on them. Sooo, about the only mods I'll be doing is "installing" my GrafxWerks overlays lol. It'll run me $400-$500 in labor, but I'm sick of waiting and want it done right and not on my free time, which I'll be spending w/ my daughter...I'll make sure to take some stylish pics

Holy smokes!!!!That is a ton of stuff...All of it is pretty easy to install...but I understand about lack of time. If you can get all that done for $400-500, then you are doing pretty well. I would have expected it to be over $600. Too bad you don't live near here...I'll be down in Anaheim the end of May...maybe I can swing by and take a look? I grew up down there.Looking forward to some pics...Wish I could get the wife to approve an exhaust. She already thinks the intake is too loud. Jeesh!Good Luck!!!

I'll be flying down...Long drive with a 3-year old. We drove down last summer. I'll be driving my sister's Evo-VIII while I'm down there, though. Not as nice as a Vibe, but some people find them interesting A mini-meet would be cool. Might have to think about driving after all...

An Evo-VIII? Your sister? I'd love to give that a spin The CAR, that is...jeez! Joking aside, maybe we can convince Wicked and Vib'in Girl to come down..I know Wicked's lives in Oxnard, where my mom & brother live, so I'm up there every other weekend. As for Vib'in Girl, she still won't say what part of Cali she's from. *shrug*PS Are you flying into LAX? What day? The reason why I ask is that I work about a block from LAX and could give you a lift to Anaheim. Besides, it would give me an excuse to bail from work early
