Windshield tint?

I want to put a strip of tint along the top of the windshield of my 2004 Vibe. But I'm a little concerned about the little black dots behind the rearview mirror. Will the tint stick to this OK or will it get all bubbly and ugly?

I tinted across the front window of mine and had the guy cut around that spot since it would have bubbled. It does not look bad at all.

I am just getting Vynal on the outside instead of tint- Last year I asked a GM rep about the dots and he said it was to help keep the sun out of your eyes between the visors- but i hate the damn things

the people who installed my tint put it over those dots, with no bubbles!

To do that they would have to use a technique of dry tinting that a lot of places wont do- Glad to hear you did not have a problem though
