Magnatized Hood Bra

I was wondering if anyone has seen or ordered the Magnetic hood protector that is often on EBay and if it is worth 49.00?? It is a strip of magnatized rubber that goes on the front of your hood??? Since the paint is so cheap on my lava Vibe, I was thinking about ordering it??? Thanks...

You are better off getting a good hood deflector like the one I bought at my dealer for 80$CAN. Here is a pic and I believe some other genvibe members have it as well.

The hood bras can actually do more damage to your car. Dirt and particles get stuck under there and can scratch your paint- i would go for a hood deflector over a bra

I had that magnetbra for a while, until it became a PITA to clean/remove/reinstall. On top of this, small particles did begin to cause swirl marks, so I finally tossed it after, oh, two months? I'll end up re-painting my Vibe and buying a CF hood within a year anyway, so screw the rock chips for now
