Well in the spring I am planning on changing my rims to aftermarket gunmetal rims. Now will this cause my brakes to wear down faster by changing the weight of my wheels?I know the rims will be a little heavier then the steel wheels on there right now.

1) If the wheel/tire package is heavier than stock, it will wear the brakes more rapidly. Will this additional wear be enough to concern yourself with? Not really 2) You seemed to be leaning towards chrome wheels the other day. Don't let people talk you into gunmetal wheels if you want chrome! I have a Fusion too, and I think chrome wheels would look great providing the wheel face goes with the Vibe's style anyway.
LOL Well I guess maybe I won't notice the brakes wear down faster. But then again maybe I will. But will it stop me from getting the rims? Nope. And yes I know I was leaning towards chrome rims. They do look very good against the Fusion Vibe but when I put the gun metal rims up against the Vibe, they looked just as good, and they are lighter. And I found good gun metal with chrome, a nice mix.
