Well, I have now 6300 miles on my car. The dealer told me that I need to rotate my tires. But, the thing is that I don't think that I do. My car came with some Goodyear tires. I dunno, wha size they are, but I'll let ya guys know ASAP. Anyways, are those tires good, or what? I dunno much about which tires are good except for like toyo, nitto, and yokohama. I know they make some good tires. I was jus wonderin what kind of tires came with ur guys' cars?Inder Singh

Your car has 205/55 R16 size tires unless you went for 17" wheels, or the dealer put on aftermarket wheels.I have Goodyear RS-As. They SUCK.Can't wait to ditch em for some REAL tires...maybe Green Diamond...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
CRAPPY CONTINENTALS!!! But in spring they are coming off and I'll probably install the BF Goodrich T/A's or the Goodyear (type to be determined).I want a tire with meat , those continental tires look like a bicycle tire. James
mine came with dunlops, forget what the tire size is. i think they were 215/60/17. supposedly z rated, but the are loud as hell! boy do i want to swap them out with the trd wheel/tire combo: 18" rims w/ perellis i believe. of course they cost some $$$
Yeah, the Dunlops on my 03 Vibe were very noisey too. The size was 215/50-17. Were maybe twice as loud when I changed them last Oct as they were when I got the car in June (12,800 miles on em).Don't everyone hate me but I actually decided on Continentals for the replacement (235/45-17). No, not the same type that come OEM. I got the ContiExtremeContacts. They're a High Perf A/S tire ranked up there with Michelin's and Pirelli's. I'm not having 1 ounce of issue with them other than they're very sensitive to pressure. 34-36 psi and they're fine but get much over that and they seem to float at higher speeds. Oh, the Dunlops were getting noisey because of odd wear. There was an alignment issue and I still think there is. The front camber (I think that's what it is) is off. This is supposedly normal to some degree but I can see it, especially in the tread pattern. (I don't know if this proves anything but while driving over dusty concrete, the dust pattern is centered more on the inside of the tire than the outside.). Everyone should check their alignment before the 12,000 mark so if there is a problem, it can be fixed under warranty. I will have mine checked every other rotation.Dave
Car came with Dunlop SP9000's. Great in dry and wet weather, but useless in the winters here (yes, I know they aren't all season).Have a set of Sumitomo HTR+ on the car now. Dry weather performance seems pretty close to the Dunlops, and snow traction is very good so far.
Two-tone Neptune GT w/17" OEM rims, Nav System, BOMZ short ram, Sabresport STB
i got 60,000 mile goodyear eagles on the front, stock contis on the back.some people may say this is ghetto, but i think it is trivial, since you cant tell without purposely checking.

Firestone Dayton Daytonas. They are fabulous. I had them on my 626 as well. IMO, the best H rated tire for the money out there right now. GREAT traction, handling in the snow, and they have the new Firestone even wear technology which ensures grip even when the tread gets very low.
I've only got the 16"s that came with my car stock....but looking for some 18's for the summer....btw...my tires are awesome in this snow for all-season....I've got no complaints and they're decent dry tires...just nothing I would do any serious racing on though.

I replaced the OEM Continental's with Pirelli P3000 all seasons. I think they are awesome. Long tread life, good grip, great price.

Conti's in the winter (good enough for driving to work) and Hankook 18's in the summer. When the Hankooks wear out I'll probably replace them with some Toyo's or Nitto's.

Well I have the P205/55R16 crapinental tire (continental) Those of you with 17 good years have the Eagle RS-A P21550RZ17.Doing a tire rotation helps your tires wear evenly and last a lot longer. I will be removing my continentals when I put on my summer rims (which I still need tires for) and use my continentals for winter for now... maybe invest in some good winter tires.

Forgive me, I'm a little late to this post, but it sounds like there are some common issues. I have 17" Dunlops on my GT. Except for snow and ice, they've been great. I waited twice longer than I should have to rotate and, since the rotation the tire noise seems to be huge. The air pressure remains equal and it pulls straight at well over the speed limit.
