Wouldn't you know my luck. The dealership called in Sept 11 to say my Vibe is finally in and I'm in the hospital on the operating table (nothing serious, just fixed my nose). My wife called and made arangements to pick it up on Monday. That would be five months and one day since ordering it. Do I win the prize for the longest wait?Salsa, base, 5-speed, power, 16" alum rims.
Congrats on the arrival! I am definately sure that once you get in the vehicle for the first time on Monday, it will be worth the wait. If you can, post some pics on the forum when it is 'home'.
Sunrise... they have no idea when it'll be ready...I called GM last month the order desk figured it would be another 1-2 months. When I ordered it was expected to take 4-6 months, so they're pretty much on target right now.The wait isn't a big deal for me anymore. the dealership is leasing me a car on a monthly basis. As long as I can get from point A -> B I can be patient.
I guess I was lucky. Found mine through GM's website in stock at a dealer 40 miles from me back in May. Finalized the deal by fax and email and picked it up 2 days later. Glad I found one with the options I wanted and didn't have to wait to order one. The dealer already had the Motegi rims and Nitto rubber on it as well.
