i know this is a ongoing topic but i have to vent i am so mad!!!handwashed by vib and my hood is sssoooo bad with chips that the paint is flaking off around the impact areas...looks like the car has measels (sp) have at least 20 impact marks ranging from ball point pen size to pencil eraser size (have bug/rock deflector too).. told the old man that he has to refinish fenders and hood this summer or i wont have nothing left... (local gm wont do anything about it, wear and tear is normal...blamed in on loca dot guys !! ) am also losing paint around rear quarter windows too ......dont get me started on the cracked fog lense or the multi cracked and pitted windshield......car turned 1 year old on 1/08 and has 8900 miles on it...i have some bad cars in the past, but not one with paint issues like this one...i think i'll just buy regular us cars this time, none of those 1/2 us/ 1/2 japanese cars since it seems that the us side of deal always gets the short end of the stick!!!!!!! arrghh!!!! on the bright side its above 0* and snowing !!

Well not sure what to say about it now but if your car was new or even to further prevent this problem check this out. Posted it not too long ago and recently saw it being used on the Mazda RX8 on the cover of MODIFIED MAGAZINE.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=7732
