Good find, I always find this stuff interesting. I have to agree with you, I'm not 100% sure on these things, but I believe them to be possible. I believe that I once had an encounter with something of this sort. I'm not going to get into it, as it can be rather long and usually freaks me out when I get to really thinking about it.

My dad claims to have encountered a ghost. There is this house that was abandoned, and when they were kids they'd go there, and his friend's dog would not go in one room. He said one night in the winter they were there and when they left they heard what sounded like a beehive and when they turned around there was this glowing thing in the doorway.

Um, I'd have to say this is not real. I think paranormal stuff is a joke.

Nope. No such thing as miracles to me. Simply very beneficial coincidences.

It would be really cool if it was real. I don't neccessarly believe in it, but I find it extremely interesting. I would hedge my bets that it is a fake, you can do some very convincing things with computers nowadays. Probably just a couple of guards with nothing better to do trying to drum up business and pass the time. And as far as miracles go I don't believe in them as well, strange coinsidences and dumb luck make up most of them.

I, too, believe in ghosts, aliens, spirits, ESP, you name it...I have a certain degree of ESP myself, actually. I have now learned to listen to those feelings. They're just little hints of things I feel I ought to do, and later on, lo and behold there is the situation in which that thing might have been helpful. When we were in a car wreck, all day I had felt nervous/on edge...and every time we stopped I had this urge to turn around and look behind us, so I did...every time except once. The one time I didn't turn around, we got rear-ended. Hard. That was creepy. Everything else has been far more minor, but I always get this certain feeling when I know something is about to happen, and I can often name what is going to happen. I know it's freaky, but I can't explain it.As for aliens, I think it's INCREDIBLY self-centered to even think that we are the only intelligent life in the universe. There are way too many stars with planets out there that we don't even KNOW about, and it's completely illogical to assume that we are either the only life, or the most intelligent. Heck we could be the idiots of the universe and not even know it. I bet the aliens are up there laughing at us right now with our primitive technology, the same way we laugh at cavemen now. Too many people judge "life sustaining capability" by whether or not WE could live there...that's not right, IMHO. We are adapted to life on earth...what is there to say that something out there doesn't like to breathe CO2, or Sulfur, or whatever? It doesn't necessarily have to be Carbon-based, either...it's just hard for even the best scientists to break out of an ethnocentric line of thinking.

very interesting topic. ghost stories and sightings i believe are very real. i believe there are different parts to our world: the physical and the spiritual. whether you believe it or not, well that's up to you.when my dad was stationed in england, i was about 11 yrs old, we traveled throughout the UK, wales, and scotland. we went to york, very famous for it's viking heritage and part of the roman wall that still stands there. one of the cool tourist attractions is the many ghost stories and sightings they have. so we went on a ghost walk through the town and the guide takes you to all the many places where sightings and stories have been. it was fascinating! whether or not this sighting is real, i don't know. but who's to say that it cannot be true? no one. just because you may not believe in it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Ghosts are definitely real and they do haunt (or visit) certain places, the house we live in for example. I can tell you from experience they do look in on the living from time to time. Two people have died in this house an older woman and a small boy and my wife has had experiences with both of them. I've never seen anything myself but I have heard some weird noises from time to time and I have noticed certain items moved from where they were left a few times. It takes a little time getting used to the fact that you aren't alone in the house.

It's hilarious. Earth is basically this hick backwater planet that no-one bothers with until it gets demolished by aliens to make way for a galactic highway.
