Yeah, probably close to $35,000. It's funny how history repeats itself. They are bringing the GTO, Charger, olg style Mustang all back. What's next a new Chevelle????
I heard the new Corvette is taking the style of the old Stingrays?? Also the new but old style of the Thunderbird...The GTO doesn't look like the old one though, Do you think it' should have?I don't know if I like this all yet. lol

(I'm hearing Tim Taylor in my head now.) Too bad the prices are astronomical on one in good shape. Someone was selling a green convertible one here in PA a few years ago, I saw the ad online for it. It was in perfect, original condition. It could have been mine for a mere $57,000.

If so, when is their target date?I haven't seen any information as far as release dates anytime soon - here is some info direct from Dodge's site:http://www.dodge.com/dodge_lif...xtNavI like the design, IMO.
That Charger was first designed around 1998, which means it came before the GTO and 'stang. I'd be willing to bet that they weren't planning on making it though until they saw the GTO. Why can't they make muscle cars affordable like tehy did back in the day? Buy a brand new Camaro or '67 stang fastback for like $4000.
By the way, I think the new GTO looks like a ***** compared to the old Judge. Isn't it something how they can make imfamous cars look stupid and puny? Take the chevy Monte Carlo, Malibu, and Impala. Chevy managed to destroy 3 amazing cars and turn them into family everyday sedans with minimal power, ESPECIALLY THE MALIBU!!!

Do you think the new GTO would have been any good to people if all it did was drive straight? Wait until you get the privilege of driving in one, you'd be amazed at how the car handles. The safety features that the Government makes standard alone costs as much as those cars did back then. If you want a car that cheep, you'll get a car that has nothing of what you've grown accustomed to in an everyday car. Once you start working in the Engineering field, you'll quickly learn why cars cost what they do. Also: PEOPLE, the GTO was based off of a FAMILY SEDAN. If I'm not mistaken, the GTO was originally a Pontiac Tempest 4 door family sedan, with a bigger engine option. At work, I sit no further away from a working Tempest and a GTO then I do a bathroom, actually they are inside my building in the main lobby... closer to my desk then my parking spots will ever be.

Why do you think they did what they had to? Nobody buys cars these days that perform like old school muscle cars did. Everything is now about Ride/handling, along with tons of power. Times change man, so do vehicles. I hate to tell you man, but those cars were originally family cars back in the days. But back then, there were very loose restrictions (if any) on fuel economies of vehicles, and ever since the 80's, demand for cars like that have died. It's called a Niche Market here in the industry, not very profitable. Don't think I didn't shed a tear when the Camaro/Firebird line was dropped, but should car manufacturers continue to lose thier as-ses on a car so they keep VERY FEW people happy? Here is a helpful link to show you why they stop putting monster V-8s into every car they can. http://www.liberalartsandcraft...shtml
BLAST. After the '80s firebirds and camaros went down hill in my opinion because they began to charge too much. I think all these stupid fuel restrictions and everything are anoying. I'm not going to be alive when the o-zone vanishes and neither will my children so I don't reallly care what happens to this planet after me and the people I know are gone.Anyways...I think that Charger is amazing...I probably wont ever get to ride in one, but maybe I'll get the priveledge of seeing one.
that charger is from the 1999 auto show circuit, but MSX got the ok to start showing it again.

It'll have the HEMI, I presume? If so, GTO doesn't stand a chance. Unless they drop the "Judge" soon. Supposedly gonna have the LS6 from the ZO6 in it. Time will tell.
I don't see any power wars...to me the age of the muscle car stopped at 1989...everything else after that has become overly expensive for a limited amount of power...so much more complex than the old muscle cars. The only muscle car has been updated and that was the first generation viper. That I considered a muscle car...now the SRT-10 I consider a super car, not a muscle car. I want a Charger
that show car has the 4.7l v8, BUT it runs on compressed natural gas!!
