Hmmm...is it just me or does the Vibe have horrible handling in the snow?...a combination of front wheel drive, light weight, and the lack of ABS seems to make a deadly combination lol. I had to take every corner in my sub at 5 mph to prevent sliding into mailboxes and such, plus I had to make a turning radius of about 30' so the wheels didn't slip. It's still fun as h*ll to drive though Was ABS an option on the Vibe?

Why I just realized that today, I'll never know! Quote »Was ABS an option on the Vibe?Yes, it was.
Yea, I don't have money for snow tires and I doubt my mom would get them for me... I gues I'll have to cope with it. Wow is it ever fun though This is my first time driving in snow.

Wow is it ever fun though This is my first time driving in snow.your first time, eh? i remember my first time..... empty parking lot, sweaty palms. but boy is it fun doing doughnuts! i love to drive in the snow, but hate the ice. and all season tires are a joke! If you read the ratings they are for mild conditions, not snow and mud. you need real snow or winter radials for that! just think if you lived in AK where there's primarily snow 9 months out of the year! great for skiing, snowboarding, snowmachining, etc. can't wait to his the slopes (and i mean i fall alot!)
Winter handling in a Vibe...isn't that an oxymoron? Unless you're rolling th AWD! But then you're barely rolling! J/K! I still wish they would have released the GT as an AWD like they had said prerelease!

Side note--ABS was standard on the GT. I got 4 new snow tires put on last month and last time when it snowed, I couldn't get out of my driveway. Only 3 inches of snow and it wouldn't climb the hill.
