Car Alarm Keyless Entry And Remote Starter

Post by colin_in_ottawa »

I'm going to be installing a "Car Alarm Keyless Entry And Remote Starter". I'm going to be following this guide: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...14934 This is the model that I'm installing: http://www.canadiantire.ca/(removed)...70976 The main thing I want out of this is the remote starter. The alram system is just a bonus. And the real bonus would be to actually get the keyless entry working. But something tells me I'm going to need to buy other accessories for the keyless entry (like these things: http://www.spal-usa.com/html/pdl2.htm ).Has any one done this before/ have any advice for me.TIA, colin----------------------2003 Vibe2WD - Auto TransManul Locks/WindowsSunroof

I'd personally say to try to soldier all of your conections, rather than using the crimp connects, i've noticed issues with the latter in my endeavours.Walk yourself through the "installation guide" you get off ebay before you cut / splice / change anything in your Vibe! The last thing you want to do is kill your car!Plan it all out ahead of time, make sure every wire and connection is accounted for before you delve in. I'm guessing you're gonna take your time, so do just that.. Be patient. If you run into any snags, let us know, i'm sure any one of us will be willing to help you out!
