Engine won't start... but battery is not dead

Post by huy397 »

Hello, My Vibe started no problem this afternoon when I left my place to buy some grocery, 30 minutes later when I am done shopping my Vibe gave me this weird problem... I turned the key and I saw the engine rev'd all the way up to 3K RMP and died off right away, however, there's still music playing. So I took the key out and tried again, same thing. a couple of lights came up, the battery one was lit up as well and the oil one ( the tea-pot looking one ) in the RPM gauge. Eventually, I tried for the 3rd time and it started off no problem then I drove home and here I am typing away... Please help.thank you
