Mobil1 Gear Oil

I've read quite a few post on people changing their gear oil and no one seems to be using Mobil1 75W90. For those who have changed the fluid, is there any reaosn you didn't use Mobil1? Also, for those people who are using Redline MT90, is there some benefit that chose you to use a GL-4 fluid rather than the spec'd GL-5?THX

Hey Fusion,Did you ever get any input about the Mobil gear oil? I've seen this at almost every auto department I've browsed through for $8 to $11 bucks a quart. Would consider the change if it will be fine and will make things better. Always used Mobil 1 synthetic oils and have never had an issue yet *knock on wood* Let me know if you've found out anything...Dave

I eventually used Royal Purple 75W90. I don't see any reason you can't use Mobil1 though since it's the right weight & GL spec.
