Calculating alternate tire sizes

Post by LavaMyVibe »

I did it the old fashioned way but I found this link that lets you compare optional tire sizes. Check it out ... http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalcul ... lculations appear to be accurate, I've checked the optional sizes that Tirerack offers for the Vibe and they're within the +_3% range. LMV

This is a good link to show you what happens as you change the size of your tires. Depending on the new tire you choose, the difference between the outside diameter of your old OEM tire/rim combo and your new tire/rim combo will alter your speedo read out. Good to know this stuff, check it out here: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
