Got my springs installed last week. I was going for Pro-Kits or TRDs as they are the same. Ended up with TRDs for $200 shipped and $97.50 install. The springs were the last set that a Washington toyota dealer was looking to move. Probably a cancelled order. I love the net. The ride is slightly firmer than stock but not at all harsh. Passes every steep driveway, speedbump, and parking curb test. No scraping and I haven't hit the bump stops yet. I'm extremely pleased that I wont have to be extra carefull even in winter. The springs actually seem more in tune with the firmer GT shocks which I felt were slightly to firm for the stock springs. Turn in is better, it takes a set much quicker and holds it better and flatter. It's actually no more nuetral than before (progress rear bar) but the limits are higher and transistions much better. I bought them for perfomance and not for looks but I have to admit I like looking less like a SUV. For me, this one's all good.

I haven't measured but the stated drop is 1.25". I've heard these may settle up to another .25". There's still a pretty good gap in the back but I still need my car to be able handle loads.

I'm sold! I want them!Is $100 a normal price for an install? Cause I want the springs, but I really don't want to mess with installing them - and that price has been scaring me away from getting them. But if I can get it done for $100 - then I'm in!
Around here, the next lowest quote I got was $250. I got my springs installed asap for the $100. The mechanic wasn't very happy with his boss over it. So no it's not typical, It seems like guys in so cal get them done for under $200 all the time.

I'm waiting to get mine installed too. I've had quotes from 150-600 dollars. The 600 dollar place went by the pontiac service manual which says it takes 6 and an half hours to do.
