Winter tire recommendations?

Post by heddy »

Even though it is a balmy 20 degrees here today, I am thinking winter tires for my '04 Salsa. Here in New Brunswick we get the full monty for winter weather. I would appreciate advice regarding winter/snow tires. We have a base model, auto, FWD. Can't overspend, but want to be smart. Thanks in advance, & Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving!

I bought some BF Goodrich Winter Slalom last winter. I was satisfied with them and they were not too expensive. They are good in the snow. I bought the same size (16") because I didn't buy 15" wheel.quote:Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving! Thanks !

They costs me 500,00 $ including all taxes and they were already on my Vibe when I took delivery in November 2002... I bought them from my Pontiac dealer. Also, there was a cash back promo with these tires at this time and I received a check (I think it was 25$, but I'm not sure)

heddy, also take a look at these similar threads aobut winter tires... http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=5336 http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=6398 http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=5115 these may be helpful. sometimes new threads get started when there are multiple ones already out there. you may have to take some info from each post to see what you're trying to find. hope this helps!
