Vibe letters blackout

Post by YoYo »

Hey lo - I don't want to delete my side/back "Vibe GT" letters. But I would like them to be black to match the car (instead of that aluminum look). Any ideas on the best way to do this?

i really like the look of shaved badges, its clean. i think that an abyss with black letters would look cool as well. are you goint to get black rims also?

Thanks so much - that is JUST what I'm looking for. I would really like to have black rims, but with the GT I got it came with the 17" GT rims which look *ok*. I tried to get them to comp them off at the dealership (was extra $400) but since I didn't custom order the car they wouldn't budge (plus got an ok deal anyways). Maybe when it comes time for tires I can justify it then as a package deal.

Try selling the 17" wheels to someone with a Silver Grand Am. I'm probably going to move my 17"s to my fiancee's 2000 Grand Am and get 19's on the vibe. The 17"s are the same size, with tire, as the stocks on the Grand Am (full size rubber on the smaller wheel and the mid-size rubber on the larger wheel end up being a half inch difference in total size..)

You better check to see if the Vibe wheels will fit the Grand Am. The Vibe has a 5x100 bolt pattern while the 1999-up GA has a 5x115 bolt pattern. It's the 1998-older GA and all Cavalier/Sunbird/Sunfires that have the same bolt pattern as the Vibe.

The Vibe wheels do not have the same bolt pattern as a Grand Am, but they Sunfire and Cavalier are the same- Try selling them to a member on here- I know a few are interested in them
